Objective of all Foundations (NGOs)
All corporations are non-profit public benefit corporations and are not organized for the private gain of any person.
They are organized under the Non/profit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes.
The specific purpose for which all corporations are organized is to create an environment in which people can live more safely and in which economic and social development can occur free from the constraints imposed by landmine contamination, including through, but without being limited to, such means as: determining the extent and breadth of landmine infestation in countries that have experienced, or are currently experiencing, the often indiscriminate use of large quantities of landmines; preventing further casualties to people around the world from landmines; returning land and infrastructure plagued by landmine placements to productive and habitable use in the shortest of time; and giving assistance to those who have become victims of landmines.
